Voting - Its your Right & Responsibilty

Hello Everyone,

You see, there are 5 set of people in this country:

1] First set of people have Voter Id card & do Vote regularly.

2] Second set of people have a Voter Id card but never take an effort to vote. (Only uses Voter ID card as an ID card, may be to buy a sim card you see).

3] Third set of people are those who already have a Voter Id card but due to some mistakes in the Voter Id card (Wrong name or photo printed), they refrain from getting it corrected and Don't Vote.

3] Fourth set of people are those who are already some where in the age above 20's & they are the ones who have enrolled for PAN card, Driving Licence, credit cards etc but havent applied for Voter ID card as they feel Politics is useless.

4] Fifth set of people are those who have just completed 18 and are eager to get that ink mark on there finger after voting, but are clueless on how and where to apply for a Voter ID card as even there parents dont encourage them to get one made at the earliest.

Dear Fellow Indians,
If you feel proud to say that India is a democratic country than do realize that Voting is not only your Right but also a Responsibility.

Do understand that:

a] A holiday on Voting day isn't meant for picnic.

b] Avoiding voting is the biggest sin you commit.

c] Voting someone against some cash received as bribe is the worst contribution you ever did to the nation.

d] Never discourage anyone from voting, instead feel motivated & encourage those who refrain from voting.

e] Do a small homework before voting to know who all are standing in your constituency, whom you should vote and why.

f] Do not force somebody to vote for a specific candidate, everyone have their rights to choose there own choice.

g] Do not provide wrong information in the voter id card.

i] Most important, Do not waste your vote by not voting, not voting is never a solution.

Main thehra ek gareeb insaan, is bhayankar mehangai se trast aur pareshaan,
roz kamaane sadak par nikalta, lagata hun jee jaan,

Humare neta kare ghotale, koyla bech dale, kabhi chara Khale,
Humne kiya tha desh chalane ko inke hawale,

Aaj jis bhi sarkari daftar main jaaun, file ko clear karwane main main piss jaun,

Har jagah hai naam likhwaya, pure pariwaar ka panjikaran karwaya,
Voter ID se lekar PAN Card banwaya, arey doston ab toh Aadhar bhi aagaya, par mere jeene ka adhikaar nahi aaya,
main puchta hun, Is Sarkar ko main dikhta nahi kya?
Mat baat mujhe Hindu Musalman main,

main puchta hun, Is Sarkar ko main dikhta nahi kya?
Main dango main jala hun, baad main baha hun,

main puchta hun, Is Sarkar ko main dikhta nahi kya?
Main achi Shiksha prapt, aaj ka berozgaar naujawaan hun,
khud kamaa kar pet paalna chahta hun, bus rozgaar ka awasar he dhund raha hun,
main puchta hun, Is Sarkar ko main dikhta nahi kya?
Main kamau, kapda khareedun, cinema dekhun, ya khana khau, sabse pehle main Tax chukau,
par phir bhi ye kamar tod mehangai aur khastahaal Sadak jhel raha hun,
main puchta hun, Is Sarkar ko main dikhta nahi kya?
Jab chahe aatanki bomb barsaaye, goli chalaye hume marvayein,
sarkar kare bhashan aur deti hai gheese pite Aashwasan,
unhi ko sun sun kar tadap raha hun,
main puchta hun, Is Sarkar ko main dikhta nahi kya?
Jab aate hain chunaav, aati hai tumhe meri yaad, kisi bhi kone main kyun na hun main,
dhund he lete ho mujhe, tumhe mera SIRF VOTE he nazar aata hain,
main puchta hun, Is Sarkar ko main dikhta nahi kya?
Meri ek pehchaan, mera ek naam hai, main bhi hun ek kaabil naagrik, desh k liye kuch karna ka vishwaas hai,
par netaon ne mere sapne diye tod, inhe dikhta hai sirf Note aur mera VOTE,
main puchta hun, Is Sarkar ko main dikhta nahi kya?

Why am I a Hindu... :)

Disclaimer: Its an Awesome article I came across online, wanted to spread it hence only reciprocating here without any self editing.. Kindly read, enjoy, feel proud & share..

A Hindu was flying from JFK New York Airport to SFO San Francisco Airport CA to attend a meeting at Monterey, CA.
An American girl was sitting on the right side, near window seat. It indeed was a long journey - it would take nearly seven
hours.
He was surprised to see the young girl reading a Bible unusual of young Americans. After some time she smiled and we had few acquaintances talk.He told
her that I am from India
Then suddenly the girl asked: 'What's your
faith?' 'What?' He didn't understand the question.
'I mean, what's your religion? Are you a Christian? Or a Muslim?'
'No!' He replied, 'He am neither Christian nor Muslim'.
Apparently she appeared shocked to listen to that. 'Then who are you?' “I am a Hindu”, He said.
She looked at him as if she was seeing a caged animal. She could not understand what He was talking about.
A common man in Europe or US knows about Christianity and Islam, as they are the leading religions of the world today.
But a Hindu, what?
He explained to her - I am born to a Hindu father and Hindu mother. Therefore, I am a Hindu by birth.
'Who is your prophet?' she asked.
'We don't have a prophet,' He replied.
'What's your Holy Book?'
'We don't have a single Holy Book, but we have hundreds and thousands of
philosophical and sacred scriptures,'
He replied.
'Oh, come on at least tell me who is your God?'
'What do you mean by that?'
'Like we have Jesus and Muslims have Allah - don't you have a God?'
He thought for a moment. Muslims and Christians believe one God (Male God) who created the world and takes an interest in
the humans who inhabit it. Her mind is conditioned with that kind of belief.
According to her (or anybody who doesn't know about Hinduism), a religion needs to have one Prophet, one Holy book and one God. The mind is so conditioned and rigidly
narrowed down to such a notion that anything else is not acceptable. He understood her perception and concept
about faith. You can't compare Hinduism with any of the present leading religions where you have to believe in one concept
of God.
He tried to explain to her: 'You can believe in one God and he can be a Hindu. You may believe in multiple deities and still
you can be a Hindu. What's more - you may not believe in God at all, still you can be a Hindu. An Atheist can also be a Hindu.'
This sounded very crazy to her. She
couldn't imagine a religion so unorganized, still surviving for thousands of years, even
after onslaught from foreign forces.
'I don't understand but it seems very interesting. Are you religious?'
What can He tell to this American girl?
He said: 'I do not go to Temple regularly. I do not make any regular rituals. I have learned some of the rituals in my younger
days. I still enjoy doing it sometimes'.
'Enjoy? Are you not afraid of God?'
'God is a friend. No- I am not afraid of God. Nobody has made any compulsions on me to perform these rituals regularly.'
She thought for a while and then asked:
'Have you ever thought of converting to
any other religion?'
'Why should I? Even if I challenge some of the rituals and faith in Hinduism, nobody can convert me from Hinduism. Because, being a Hindu allows me to think independently and objectively, without conditioning. I remain as a Hindu never by force, but choice.' He told her that Hinduism is not a religion, but a set of beliefs and practices. It is not a religion like Christianity or Islam because it is not founded by any one person or does not have an organized controlling body like the Church or the Order, I added. There is no institution or authority..
'So, you don't believe in God?' she wanted everything in black and white.
'I didn't say that. I do not discard the divine reality. Our scripture, or Sruthis or Smrithis - Vedas and Upanishads or the Gita - say God might be there or he might not be there. But we pray to that supreme abstract authority (Para Brahma) that is the creator of this universe.'
'Why can't you believe in one personal God?'
'We have a concept - abstract - not a personal god. The concept or notion of a personal God, hiding behind the clouds of secrecy, telling us irrational stories through few men whom he sends as messengers, demanding us to worship him or punish us, does not make sense. I don't think that God is as silly as an autocratic emperor who wants others to respect him or fear him.' He told her that such notions are just fancies of less educated human imagination and fallacies, adding that generally ethnic religious practitioners in Hinduism believe in personal Gods. The entry level Hinduism has over-whelming superstitions too. The philosophical side of Hinduism negates all superstitions.
'Good that you agree God might exist. You told that you pray. What is your prayer then?'
'Loka Samastha Sukino Bhavantu. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti,'
लोका समस्ता सुखिनो भवन्तु !!! ॐ
शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः !!!
'Funny,' she laughed, 'What does it mean?'
'May all the beings in all the worlds be happy. Let there be Peace, Peace, and Peace every where.'
'Hmm ..very interesting. I want to learn more about this religion. It is so democratic, broad-minded and free' she exclaimed.
'The fact is Hinduism is a religion of the individual, for the individual and by the individual with its roots in the Vedas and the Bhagavad-Gita. It is all about an individual approaching a personal God in an individual way according to his temperament and inner evolution - it is as simple as that.'
'How does anybody convert to Hinduism?'
'Nobody can convert you to Hinduism, because it is not a religion, but it is a Culture, a way of leaving life, a set of beliefs and practices. Everything is acceptable in Hinduism because there is no single Authority or Organization either to accept you or to reject you or to oppose you on behalf of Hinduism.'
He told her - if you look for meaning in life, don't look for it in religions; don't go from one cult to another or from one Guru to the next.
For a real seeker, He told her, the Bible itself gives guidelines when it says '
Kingdom of God is within you.' I reminded her of Christ's teaching about the love that we have for each other. That is where you can find the meaning of life.
Loving each and every creation of the God is absolute and real. 'Isavasyam idam sarvam' Isam (the God) is present (inhabits) here everywhere - nothing exists separate from the God, because God is present everywhere. Respect every living being and non-living things as God. That's what Hinduism teaches you.
Hinduism is referred to as Sanathana Dharma, the eternal faith. It is based on the practice of Dharma, the code of life.
The most important aspect of Hinduism is being truthful to oneself. Hinduism has no monopoly on ideas. It is open to all.
Hindus believe in one God (not a personal one) expressed in different forms. For them, God is timeless and formless entity.
Ancestors of today's Hindus believe in eternal truths and cosmic laws and these truths are opened to anyone who seeks them. But there is a section of Hindus who are either superstitious or turned fanatic to make this an organized religion like others.
The British coin the word 'Hindu' and considered it as a religion.
He said: 'Religions have become an MLM (multi-level- marketing) industry that has been trying to expand the market share by conversion. The biggest business in today's world is Spirituality. Hinduism is no
exception'
He said "I am a Hindu primarily because it professes Non-violence - 'Ahimsa Paramo Dharma' means - Non violence is the highest duty. I am a Hindu because it doesn't condition my mind with any faith system.
A man/woman who changes his/her birth religion to another religion is a fake and does not value his/her morals, culture and values in life.
Hinduism is the original rather a natural yet a logical and satisfying spiritual,
personal and a scientific way of leaving a life..

Words of a girl to her Mother: Maa mujhe dar lagta hai

Its a heart melting poem which was forwarded to me recently. This poem not only made my heart cry, but also left my eyes wet and my mind felt guilty for what a girl has to go through in her life right from childhood to her old days. Request to Males, please do not ever even think about committing heinous act like Rape.

**** Words of a girl to her Mother. ****
A gal to her mom :

Maa mujhe dar lagta hai..bohot dar

Maa tu toh kahti thi apni gudiya ko

India vs Terrorism. What have we learnt from our own History??

Yes, what have we(India) learnt from our own History??

Why does a fast growing nation which has such a huge impact on all over the world, fails in itself. India being such a vast country & a country which has been surviving so many terror attacks since its Independence, has done Nothing to make a strong law to punish Terrorists.

Attacks on Army in J&K, serial bomb blasts, Attack on Parliament & the most severe was Mumbai attacks in 2008, yet no improvement in Indian Judiciary. The aggressive spark to eradicate terrorism from its roots is missing in Indian Parliament & Indian Judiciary system. The case of a terrorist moves with the same pace as that of a rapist/robber. Does our Govt & Judicial system doesn't recognise the difference in both cases. Or are we aware of the threats but still keeping our eyes closed thinking all is well..

I feel sad to know that our so called ill Judicial system insist on providing a Lawyer to a terrorist to fight the case. What the hell?? A man who was involved in 183 killing & was caught Live on all News camera yet our Big Hearted Judicial system is bounded to provide him a Lawyer. Gimme a break guys. Its really sad to see how the same lawyer instead of making a zero contribution to get Terrorist hanged, he teaches the terrorist new ideas & ways to avoid the charges or how to keep confusing Whole Judicial system.

Supreme Court has sentenced Afzal Guru should be hanged till death, yet our Silly Govt isn't acting upon his Mercy plea. It is just for name sake that the Mercy Plea is written on the name of President of India. In real all such decisions are taken by Home Ministry. Till date file of Afzal Guru(Parliament Attack Mastermind) is not been processed by HM, we blame President for being slow but its our entire system & proceedings that are slow.

Home Ministry consider Mercy Plea of a rapists / murderer equal to mass murderer Terrorist. Why cant File of Terrorist been processed with immediate effect on high basis.
Its all Vote bank Politics. A group of J&K people claimed Afzal Guru is our freedom fighter, should not be hanged & our UPA govt delayed his hanging decision from past 7-8years. Shame.

We have spent 20 Crores on the security of Kasab. 20Crores???? Yes 20 Crores, We are really that big fools... We dont learn from America how he arrested Saddam Hussain, made some few fake Court proceedings to show to the world & than hanged him, similarly USA killed Osama Bin Laden on the spot. No putting them behind bars for years.

India doesn't learn from its own History, how Air India flight IC-814 was been Hijacked by terrorists to release there Akka Lakhvi. Why doesnt Govt see the sacrifice of our Brave Army & Police & efforts they take to nab these culprits, bt all there efforts are nullified by spending 20Crores on terrorists security. Are we expecting something similar in case of Afzal Guru & Kasab. Think over it and raise this issue every now & than. India should make itself strong & aggressive against Terrorism to give out a Strong message to them & our neighbouring Countries that India posses Zero % tolerance to Terrorism.

Jai Hind. Jai Bharat Mata.

Suggestions welcomed.

2012- An End of Things in India

Year 2012 has been labelled as Year of Mass Destruction world wide & claimed that World will come to an END. Well I'm focusing on few things that have almost come to an End in India this year.
With the start of year 2012, India lost few very lovable Celebrities like Jagjit Singh, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor & lately Dara Singh & Superstar Rajesh Khanna..... There lives came to an End.

Following the year We heard about fixing in IPL, where 5 Young Cricketers were caught in a sting operation on camera claiming few fixing do takes place in IPL. This came as an End to Morality of Sports.

Later this year India witnessed Riots in Bareily, Mathura & majorly in Kohkrajhar(Assam). But here End of Humanity was observed. Also thing India witnessed was "End of Ethics in Journalists & Main Stream Media(MSM)." None of MSM reported about these Riots at initial stages. The Assam Riots were only reported after the Social Media i.e., Twitter group of Patriotic/Nationalist Tweeples trended aggressively #AssamRiots.

What was more shamefull was that one of leading Journalist when questioned about why he isnt covering Assam Riots, as he did for Gujarat riots day n night? A very sad reply came sayin that ONLY 38Lives have been lost till now in Kohkrajhar & intensity is not that high to report. Also the distance matters. This was the most shameful answer by a leading Journalist, later he had to apologise for his bad taste of reply. So this made India see the End of Ethics in Journalism.

India also noted that in year 2012, media or say MSM has transformed itself as TRP hunger & are also addressed as Paid Media for not show casing any fault of Govt. For eg., MSM covered news of kid fallen in bore well for non stop 2-3 days but did not give any importance to show the footage of Strike of Air India Pilots as the strike was against the Govt.

Sadly in Mumbai riots by Raza Academy we saw "END of Police Confidence" to hit back at one particular community people. Police stood mum when Raza Academy supporters burnt Police Vehicles, Media OB vans & damaged Buses.

The Exodus of NE People from accross the country saw "END of Rights to Live Independently" through out India.

What India also noticed was Govt banned SMS to 5 sms/day claiming that rumor smses caused the havoc. This was" END to freedom of Individual's right to be Socially connected to there loved ones".
On 21st August we saw "END of Democracy in Parliament" when in Rajya Sabha, Rajiv Shukla whispered to Dy Speaker on chair "Shor Bad raha hai, House full day Adjourn kar do." This was caught in the Mic & Camera. This was the biggest proof how Govt wants to Dominate in Parliament too.

Lastly Govt's decision to BLOCK Nationalist Tweeple's Twitter a/cs including few right wing Journalists was a Big step towards Govt's Dictatorship. This step is hugely criticized on Twitter as mass Tweeples turned there DP(Pics) full Black in Protest. So this step of Govt saw "END of Freedom to Oppose".
This was my little piece on how India Saw End of many Things in India in 2012. Due you think the so called Self Destruction of World in Dec 2012 would be bigger than above mentioned incidents? My answer is NO. India has sadly observed alot of good things coming to End.

Thank you : Gunjan Mathur @hellogunj (Twitter)

Jst give it a thought Guys

"Kindly bear with me as I am neither a good writer nor editor to place my points in sequence."

I switch ON my TV and get irritated to see the same news where few politicians in Mumbai are vomiting poison against North Indian...there is a sudden rush of blood in me which makes me little aggressive and i fire some bad words to such politicians and then return to my daily routine forgetting the whole issue, then comes the turn of CM of the states like Bihar, Jharkhand, UP etc to fire back on the previous politician of Mumbai. They say all Indians have rights to stay any where across India and can work in any city/state freely and no one can stop them from being in Mumbai. This continues for a week and so on and everyone forgets this issue as I did.
Well Here I am on my point, One fine day I thought Why Mr. Raj is shouting against all Non Marathis, the obvious reason is that when outsiders are working and earning in Mumbai then where will Marathis go to earn there bread.
Well all say "Take everything positively" but has anyone taken time to realise what is the main reason behind this frequently raised issues. I am in no position to support MNS or Shivsena for what they say against North Indians but what I feel is instead of Media asking questions to MNS or Shivsena for thre rude behavior, its time Media should question the CM's of other respective states as where and why is there respective state lacking behind to provide job for there people. If all Ministers starts work efficiently and starts developing there states then its obvious that big companies are bound to get attracted to open their branches in your state (e.g., How Tata took his Nano project to Gujrat). Critics would say industries can be established only where proper mineral resources is available (e.g., Steel Plant can be in Jharkand only and not in J&K, Gas plant can be in Coastal area and not in Patna), so my question to them is if such minerals based manufacturing industries are excluded from our list why cant the states infrastructure be made strong enough to attract IT giants like Infosys, Wipro, RIM etc who are into software field to open there branches to create employment of your people.
Same way in terms of Education,in my list Karnataka is anytime better then any other state.
Why cant Govt do well enough to open good schools and colleges to provide enough seats for there students which would help in stop migration from one state to other.

Before commenting on other's speech the Ministers should look into themselves where and why they are lacking. Each student or person migrating to other state for the need of Education/ Earning should be considered as lack of the State govt for not able to fulfill there requirements.

When a contractor is punished or charged penalty for not completing his given project(roads, bridges) on time, then why should the whole Cabinet or Govt is not liable to be punished when they fail to reach the targets at the end of there 5years term.

I 've expressed my views here solely on the basis of what I feel and not influenced by any person in general.

Your views and comments are welcomed. Please do take time to scribble down your comments.
